Cooperation between "Azersu" OJSC and KOICA started in 2011 within the project "Creation of water supply and sewage system in Kurdahani settlement". The agreement was signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea for a grant agreement of $ 26.18 million, as well as contracts with Korean companies Hyundai Engineering, Halla Energy & Environment, Sunjin Engineering, Yooshin Engineering.
Implementation of the project "Establishment of water supply and sewerage system in Kurdakhani settlement" started in February 2012 and was successfully completed in March 2015. The object was commissioned by the State Admission Commission.
97,198 meters long drinking water network and 761 meters of micro tunnel sewerage collector were constructed in Kurdakhani settlement, 436 fire hydrants, 361 units of valves and 3663 smart card type water meters were installed. As a result of the project 14300 residents in Kurdakhani settlement were provided with drinking water without interruption.
