Experts from the Waste Water Treatmenr and Analysis Laboratory of Ludwigshafen, Germany have conducted training at the Central Laboratory of “Azersu” OJSC. The training was organized within the framework of the Memorandum signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Federative Republic of Germany on declaration Sumgait and Ludwigshafen the fraternal cities.
Specialists from the Central Laboratory, United Sukanal Ltd, Sumgait Sukanal Office, “Goygol Sukanal” Office, Hovsan Aeration Station attended the training held to increase the professionalism of employees. The training was conducted by experts come from the Waste Water Treatment and Analysis Laboratory in Ludwigshafen- Christian Keith and Christina Weiss.
Extensive theoretical knowledge on waste water treatment mechanism, facility operation and laboratory analysis were provided and discussions were held during the training. The guests provided detailed information on working principle of local waste water treatment plans in Germany, their life cycle and quality of treated water. It was noted that the waste water in the city of Manheim is treated in the waste water treatment facility that meets the highest standards and discharged safely into the River Rhine after passing through coal filters. German specialists provided extensive information about the working principle, structure, as well as waste water standards and tests provided by the laboratory supplied with high- tech equipment. It was noted that the waste water that flows by the giant industrial enterprises into sewer in Germany are seriously controlled. Based on the samples taken from these waters, the enterprises violating the requirements of the norms are fined. Extensive information on laboratory analysis, quality of waste water, calculation of uncertainties and regulation of laboratory structure were provided to trainees.
