The "Kondalanchay-1" water reservoir built in the bed of the Kondelanchay River with a total water capacity of 3.9 million cubic meters (useful volume of 3.6 million cubic meters) and a height of 14 meters was put into operation in 1962. Within the complex amelioration and irrigation measures in the liberated territories, appropriate repair and restoration work was carried out in the water reservoir. The purpose here is to bring the facilities and mechanical equipment of the dam to a stable operating mode and create a normal state for further operation. E. Mammadov noted that the total water capacity is 9.5 million cubic meters (useful volume is 9 million cubic meters), and the Ashaghi (Lower) Kondalanchay reservoir with a height of 25 meters was put into operation in 1980.

Then the media representatives got acquainted with the implementation and construction work of the project of creating drinking, waste and rainwater systems of Fuzuli city. ASWRA representative Ilgar Taghiyev noted that the project, which was founded by Mr. President Ilham Aliyev on May 5, 2023, is designed to meet the needs of 50,000 people in this city, taking into account prospective development until 2040.

It was also brought to the attention of media representatives that until the project of creating drinking and waste water systems in Fuzuli city is implemented, Urgent Actions were taken by ASWRA in order to provide drinking water to the population and the facilities operate here. For this purpose, the drainage systems built in the bed of Guruchay in the 1980s and rendered useless during the occupation were restored and returned to operation. At the same time, 2 water collecting reservoirs with a total capacity of 100 cubic meters, a pumping station, and a transmission main were built at the water source. As an urgent measure, 4 modular treatment units with a total capacity of 600 cubic meters per day have been installed for the purpose of treating and disposal of waste water generated in the city.
