Cooperation between "Azersu" OJSC and KOICA started in 2011 within the project "Creation of water supply and sewage system in Kurdahani settlement". Regarding this cooperation, a Grant Agreement in the amount of 26.18 million dollars was signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, as well as a contract agreement with Korean companies Hyundai Engineering, Halla Energy&Environment, Sunjin Engineering, Yooshin Engineering. The project was launched in February 2012 and was successfully completed in March 2015.
98 km long drinking water network and 761 meters long sewerage collector of micro tunnel type were constructed in Kurdakhani settlement within the project, 436 fire hydrants, 361 units of valves and 3663 smart card type water meters were installed on the drinking water network. As a result of the project 14300 residents in Kurdakhani settlement were provided with drinking water without interruption.
