The electric control board of the water pumping station No. 26 was stolen

A burglary occurred at the water pumping station No. 26 of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company on Ilham Shukurov Street, Amirjan Settlement, Surakhani District, Baku. An unknown person or persons entered the station by breaking the guardrails on the window, dismantled and stole 2 electric control boards. Those equipment ensured the control of 2 75 kilowatts pumping units of the station.

Due to the theft of electrical control boards, the operation of the station stopped, and it was not possible to supply drinking water to a part of Amirjan settlement in the morning today.

The law enforcement agencies were informed about the incident. At present, law enforcement officers are carrying out investigations and inspection in the area. At the same time, "Azersu" OJSC is taking measures to restore the operation of the pumping station.
