At the event of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency on the end of 2023, media organizations and journalists who promptly and comprehensively covered the work done in the field of water management were awarded.
Speaking at the event, Asad Shirinov, adviser to the chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, spoke about the large-scale construction work carried out in the country, especially in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, the restoration of the operation of the Sarsang reservoir, and the irrigation season with positive results.
As an indicator of the special attention and care for the water industry of the country, in 2023, the Sugovushan and Khachinchay reservoirs will be put back into use after repair and restoration, the introduction of the drinking water supply, sewage and rainwater systems of the city of Shusha, the opening of the Zaryslichay pumping station in the village of Dashalti, the drinking water supply of the city of Fuzuli, the groundbreaking ceremony of the water supply, sewage and rainwater systems complex, and the President Ilham Aliyev’s personal participation in the ceremonies of commissioning the water supply and sewage systems of Gazakh city were especially noted.
