Training with the participation of German specialists was held in the Central laboratory

"Azersu" OJSC cooperates with the water supply and sewerage enterprises of the city of Ludwigshafen, Germany, in the field of exchange of experience within the framework of the "Network of Cities" project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Withn the framework of this cooperation, mutual visits are organized and training programs are implemented.

The next training was held in the Central laboratory with the participation of Christian Keith and Joseph Breidenbach, laboratory specialists of the Ludwigshafen Waste Water Facility. Biologists of the laboratories participated in theoretical and practical trainings called "Determination of filamentous bacteria in activated sludge". Dr. Josef Breidenbach provided detailed information on the use of software for the determination of filamentous bacteria in activated sludge, the staining and measurement of bacteria under a microscope and the rules for using the necessary materials.
