A new projects to improve the drinking water supply and sewerage services in Zabrat settlement of Sabunchu district has been launched at the expense of internal resources. Centralized drinking and waste water networks are being established on Murad Mirzayev Street, Zabrat settlement of Sabunchu district, due to the internal resources of “Azersu” OJSC.

Due to the lack of a centralized network in this area, there were problems with drinking water supply. Individual lines laid by the residents and unfit to construction standards did not allow normal water supply. Frequent accidents caused violations of hydraulic regimes, serious water losses, as well as certain risks to water quality. In order to eliminate individual water lines, minimize water losses and improve water supply to consumers, 2.5 km distribution network was built in the area and houses were connected to the network. As a result of the project, 850 individual houses will be supplied with water on a sustainable basis.

The lack of a sewerage network in the area also created serious problems for the residents. During the fall and winter months waste, groundwater, and rainwater flooded yards and basements. The construction of new sewer lines will eliminate this problem for residents.

It should be noted that along with Zabrat settlement, projects to improve the drinking water supply are being implemented in Binagadi, Saray, Ashaghi Guzdek, Bayil and Turkan settlements, as well as in some villages of Hajigabul and Goranboy regions due to the internal resources of “Azersu” OJSC.
