An employee of “Imishli Sukanal” Branch of “Azersu” OJSC was subjected to physical pressure from the subscriber

Although “Azersu” OJSC has intensified awareness and propaganda to attract subscribers to payment, some subscribers are trying to evade payment. It is unfortunate that these evading subscribers are rude to “Azersu” employees, who perform their duties and subject them to physical pressure. This time, an employee of the “Imishli Sukanal” Branch of the Regional Sukanal Department No. 4 of “Azersu” OJSC was subjected to the abusive treatment and physical pressure by the subscriber.

Despite repeated warnings to pay the debt of a subscriber named Taleh Zeynalov for the use of drinking water supply services situated on Sevil Gaziyeva Street 6, Imishli, the subscriber refused to pay. In accordance with the requirements of the "Rules of Water Use", the water supply was suspended. Employees of the “Imishli Sukanal” branch approached the address and once again explained the subscriber the importance of debt repayment. However, the subscriber aggressively insulted and physically pressured Maharramov Mustafa Umud oglu, an engineer of the “Imishli Sukanal” Branch’s Operation and Management Control Group.

The incident was recorded by the employees of the “Imishli Sukanal” Branch, Maharramov underwent a medical examination and the Imishli District Police Department was contacted to investigate the fact.

“Azersu” OJSC informs citizens and subscribers that the level of service provided depends on timely payments. For this purpose, any insults and pressure against employees performing their duties are unacceptable and if such cases occur, “Azersu” OJSC will apply to law enforcement agencies.

It is brought to the attention of subscribers that partial payment of receivables are also available. To do this, the subscriber must apply to the local water supply department or branch, sign a protocol of agreement and pay the debt in installments on a monthly basis in accordance with the commitment.
