The Scientific- research and Design Institute “Sukanal” announces admission on PhD Studies

 The “Sukanal” Scientific- Research and Design Institute of “Azersu” OJSC is pleased to announce admission for Doctoral Studies on PhD. Admission on PhD Studies and Doctoral Studies for 2020 will be carried out in accordance with the admission plan on Doctoral and PhD preparation of higher educational institutions, Scientific institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020 approved by the decree № 493s dated August 25, 2020 by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Documents on Doctoral Studies and PhD Studies will be admitted through September 07, 2020 to September 28, 2020 every day (except weekends) from 09 a.m. to 06 p.m.

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (specialists who possess Master’s Degree or equivalent of it) are admitted to the Doctoral Studies in PhD on the basis of competition.

Admission to Doctoral Studies in PhD is implemented in the following majors at the institute:

To enter the PhD program candidates should take the foreign language exam (except for Russian, the choice should be unrestricted and relevant to major) at the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the volume of curriculum valid for the Master's Degree.

 Those who pass the foreign language exam will be admitted to the philosophy exam, while those who have taken the philosophy will be allowed to pass the qualifying examination.

The following documents should be applied for Doctoral Studies

• Application (to the Director of the Institute);
• HR personal record card
• Autobiography;
• 2 photos (3x4 sized);
• Letter of reference from the workplace;
• Extract from the workbook for those with work experience;
• A list of printed scientific works or an abstract on the selected specialty;
• Approved copy of diploma on graduation from higher education institution (Certificate of recognition of education documents for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan studying in foreign countries);
• International certificate on foreign language skills (if available);
• Copy of ID.

Duration of the Studies on PhD doctoral programs (part- time) is 4 years.
