Articles 262.2.3, 262.3 and 263 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan

262.2.3. For non-targeted discharge of drinking household water, service water and wastewater (outdoors, onto streets, telecommunication and energy communication networks) -

natural persons shall be fined from 100 to 150 manats, public officials from 800 to 1000 manats, and legal entities from 2000 to 3000 manats.

262.3. For a small amount of damage inflicted as a result of illegal connection to the water supply network and consequent plundering of water -

natural persons shall be fined from 200 to 400 manats, public officials from 1000 to 1500 manats, and legal entities from 2500 to 3500 manats.

Note: In Article 262.3 of this Code, “small amount” shall mean an amount of not more than five thousand manats. ^[220]

Article 263. Consumer obstacles to preventing violations of the requirements of legislation in the field of water supply

For obstacles caused by consumer to the implementation of measures taken by an authorised person of a water supply enterprise to prevent violations of the requirements of the water legislation, or fulfilment of legal requirements of such person (excluding cases provided for in Article 602.4 of this Code in respect of inspections by entry into the premises where the entrepreneurial/business activity is carried out) ^[221] -

natural persons shall be fined 50 manats, officials 500 manats, and legal entities 1500 manats.
