A report was signed between “Azersu” OJSC and Korean International Collaboration Agency

   An initial Agreement was obtained between “Azersu” OJSC and Korean International Collaboration (KOICA) on “General Solutions on scarcity of water in Absheron Peninsula: construction of water supply and sewerage systems in Kurdakhani settlement of Absheron Peninsula” project. With this purpose the chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Mr. Gorkhmaz Huseynov and Resident representative of Korean International Collaboration (KOICA) Mrs. Kim Eun Suk signed the report.
   The aim of the project is to develop the life condition of inhabitants and environment in Kurdakhani settlement of Absheron Peninsula constructing water supply and sewerage systems.
   According to the Agreement KOICA will do the following works during the project:
          1)To prepare the design of the project of water supply and sewerage systems in Kurdakhani settlement, construction and supervision on construction
          2)To provide the equipments and materials required for execution of the project.
          3)To send Koreans specialists on Azerbaijan for the purpose of rendering consultant service for execution of the project.
          4)Inviting Azerbaijani specialists to training programs in Korean.
 
   Korean International Collaboration (KOICA) is expected to separate grant in the sum 26 mln USD for execution of the project. The intended works will be carried out between 2011 and 2014.
