50th Anniversary of Jeyranbatan Water Pipelines Department was celebrated.

Inauguration ceremony took place on September 8 on the occasion of 50th anniversary of JeyranbatanWater Pipelines Department. Before inauguration the management and department staff of “Azersu” OJSC visited the tomb of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and prominent ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva in Alley of Honors.
         Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Mr. Gorkhmaz Huseynov attended to the inauguration dedicated to 50th anniversary of JeyranbatanWater Pipelines Department. He stated that, the first unit of the Water Treatment Plant Compound with a capacity of 2, 64 m3/s was put into operation on September 8 in 1961 and with this foundation was laid for significant changes in the drinking water supply of Absheron Peninsula.
Gorkhmaz Huseynov emphasized the exclusive importance of JeyranbatanWater Pipelines Department in water supply of Baku and Sumgait. The fact that a group worker of “Azersu” OJSC has been awarded titles of honors such as “Progress” medal and “Honored Engineer” by the resolution of President Ilham Aliyev was valued by the Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC as the largest price issued to their achievement.
         In the ceremony deputy director of “Sukanal” SRDI of “Azersu” OJSC Mr. Ahmed Mammadov, Head of Water Resources Processing and Transmission Mains Mr. Mirkamil Seyidov, laboratorian of chemical analysis laboratory of Water Pipelines Department of Jeyranbatan Mrs. Yazgul Rustamova stated and thanked to President Ilham Aliyev and the management of “Azersu” OJSC for price issued to their achievement.
In anniversary ceremony 24peoples who had good tern in the development of Jeyranbatan Water Treatment Plant Compound were awarded by honor titles of “Azersu” OJSC, valuable presents and material award. After all applications of participants to president was adopted
It shall be noted that five employees of “Azersu” OJSC - Famil Aliyev, Shamama Latifova, Alkarim Mammadov, Yazgul Rustamova and Mirkamil Seyidov and deputy director of “Sukanal” SRDI Ahmed Mammadov were awarded by the titles such as “Progress” medal and “Honored Engineer” by the resolution of President Ilham Aliyev.
