Inauguration ceremony of Jeyranbatan water treatment ultra-filtration plant was held.

     The President of the Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended to the inauguration ceremony of Jeyranbatan water treatment ultra-filtration plant of “Azersu” OJSC in Absheron rayon on September 8.

      The President of Azerbaijan was informed that technical indicators of the plant that will be constructed. It was stated that   these type filtrations keeps all the particles with a size of 0,01 micron and all harmful bacteria in the composition of water. Thus keeping the natural mineral composition of water this facility provides the treatment and eliminating unpleasant odor and taste of the water. Water going through out the ultra filtration is useful for drinking and there is no need to use chlorine during neutralization process.

      It was noted that the facility with a capacity of 6 m3/s will be constructed in 1,2 hectare area will contribute to supply population on continuing basis with  high quality drinking water. Modern technology produced in Kingdom of Nederland will be used in new facility. The new facility that will be controlled in automatic mode will allow saving electrical power. Water proceeded in this plant will adapted to World Health Organization standards.  For conveying water to the consumers by gravity water proceeds in new plants will be transmitted to the reservoir which is located at a height of 190 m above sea level and from here will be distributed to all areas of Absheron.

     Then the President placed a symbolic metal capsule into the foundation and covered it with liquid concrete.
