“Azersu” OJSC announces bidding for reconstruction of drinking water supply and sanitation infrastructures in Dashkesen city

   A bidding was announced for reconstruction of drinking water supply and sanitation infrastructures in Dashkesen city in the frame of “National Water Supply and Sanitation Project in 6 regions” financed by the Government of “Azersu” OJSC and Islamic Development Bank.

    Reconstruction of Dashkesen city Water Supply and Sewerage Project covers Dashkesen city and surrounding residential areas. The project is designed to improve water supply and sewerage systems of totally 17 thousand people including Alunitdag and Medenchiler villages.

    In accordance with the project Garainek and Gulbulag water sources have been selected for supplying Dashkesen city and surrounding villages on a continuing basis with drinking water. A transmission main of 21km from the sources till Dashkesen city will be laid and 4Nos reservoirs with total capacity of 4500 cubic meters will be constructed in different places of the city taking account the relief. In accordance with the project distributional lines of 18,3km will be built. 2500 house connections will be carried out and every house will be provided with water meters.

    Following the project sewerage network will be constructed in Dashkesen city. A sewerage line of 21km will be laid and 2560 house will be connected to the network. In the future Wastewater Treatment Plant with productivity of 3500 cubic meters will be constructed.
