Drinking water supply systems in Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy is improved

   “Azersu” OJSC carries out projects in rayon centers and surrounding villages, as well as in the frontline regions suffering from shortage of drinking water in order to improve water supply of consumers under “State Program on Socioeconomic Development in the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013”. In accordance with Urgent program the project designed for solving drinking water problems of Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy was completed. A ceremony was held regarding the commissioning of new infrastructures.

 

  The head of Executive power of Goranboy region Nizameddin Guliyev congratulated the residents due to completion of the projects and supplying drinking water to the village and highly evaluated work of  “Azersu” OJSC.

   The director of “United Sukanal” Etibar Memmedov stated that water supply and sewerage infrastructures in the regions are reconstructed and reconstruction works are carried out in the regions, as well as in the remote and rural areas under “State Program on Socioeconomic Development of the regions of Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013”: “Water supply infrastructure has been constructed in the another village- Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy district in accordance with instruction given by President Ilham Aliyev. Being frontline village the residents of Tapgaragoyunlu village have been suffering from shortage of drinking water for many years. Now the population of the village will be supplied with drinking water on “24 hours a day” basis.”

  The residents thanked to the head of the state and staff of “Azersu” OJSC for solving their drinking water problems.

  For supplying the population of the village with drinking water on “24 hours a day” basis Balligaya-Goranboy transmission main was chosen as water source. A transmission main of 14km was laid from the source till the village. 2Nos reservoirs with the capacity of 300m3 were constructed and distribution lines of 35,6km were laid. 800 house connections were carried out. Thus 2400 residents of Tapgaragoyunlu village have been supplied with drinking water on “24 hours a day” basis.
