A new project on supplying 23 villages of Masalli district has been launched

   “Azersu” OJSC continues urgent measures in order to improve water supply of consumers in Baku, as well as in the regions. Large-scale works are carried out in town/rayon centers and villages under “State Program on Socioeconomic Development in the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013”. One of these projects covers 23 villages of Masalli village. Under the project water supply of Sherefe, Hesenli, Hajitepe, Siginjag, Arab, Khirmandali, Memmedkhanli Tekdam, Kochekli, Kurdebazli, Eminli, Gargalig, Shehriyar Dellekli, Khallijali, Agakishibeyli, Bala Tekle, Alishanli, Etcheler, I Semedkhanli , II Semedkhanli, Tekle, Gadirli villages of the district suffering from shortage of drinking water will be improved.

   The project that was designed in order to improve drinking water supply systems of more over 30 thousand people in 23 villages of Masalli district has been commenced in August. Under the project the villages will be supplied with drinking water from water treatment plant that will be constructed in the bed of Vileshchay. 2Nos reservoirs with the capacity of 10 thousand m3 will be built in order to supply water to the residential areas by gravity. A transmission main of 19, 4km of combined diameter ranged will be laid.

   At the first phase springs will be constructed and at the next phase distributional lines will be laid in the villages. The work on the project is planned to be completed in 2014.

  At the next phase the second transmission main will be laid from the reservoirs compound to Erkivan-Gizilagaj villages. Once the transmission main is put into operation 50 thousand people in 38 villages will be supplied with drinking water.
