Water supply and sanitation systems in the villages and settlements under development

   “Azersu” OJSC continues urgent measures in order to improve water supply of consumers in Baku, as well as in the regions. Large-scale works are carried out in town/rayon centers and villages under “State Program on Socioeconomic Development in the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013”. With this purpose firstly water projects are carried out in the regions suffering from water scarcity.  

   A part of the projects continued in the regions are carried out by “United Sukanal” LLC. Between January and June months in 2013 improvement work of water supply systems has been commenced in Perizamanli village of Gedebey, Khidirli village of Salyan, Tap-Garagoyunlu village of Goranboy, Kurd Eldarbeyli village of Ismayilli, Saribulag village of Balaken, Jemjemli , Goydere, Arabgedim and other villages of Gobustan. With the purpose of improving water supply systems of population transmission main and distributional lines of totally 66,6km were laid, 59 Nos valves, 33Nos pumps, 2 Nos electric motors were installed. At the same time reconstruction work was carried out in water sources, sewerage networks, and main plants. During the last period of the current year a series of measures has been carried regarding to observing of water production technology, carry out laboratory analyses in a timely manner, and eliminating the defects arising.

   “United Sukanal” LLC serves in 397 residential areas (46 town/rayon centers, 80 settlements, 271 villages) of the Republic. Presently reconstruction projects of water supply and sanitation systems are continued in 33 town/rayon centers that the Company serves.
