A meeting was held with the students and lecturers of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) in “Azersu” OJSC

On June 5 a meeting was held with the students and lecturers of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) in “Azersu” OJSC. After opening ceremony recalling the great role and experience of AzUAC in education sector chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov emphasized that cooperation with Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) on education, science, specialization and employment will give good results.

Head of “Azersu” OJSC stated that Great leader Heydar Aliyev always was sensitive to improvement of water supply and sanitation systems of population, and now this policy is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Action Plans have been carried out in Baku and surrounding settlements in order to provide population on a continuing basis with drinking water. Presently water and sanitation projects are continued in 38 town/rayon centers, as well as in 350 villages. New drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructures will be constructed in Baku and Absheron Peninsula under Master Plan that was prepared taking into account prospective development of Baku as of 2035.

Referring to the many-sided activity of “Azersu” OJSC vice-rector for scientific issues Arif Sharifov noted that there is a great need for experienced engineers and AzUAC has great experience in training engineering staff.

Then administartion of “Azersu” OJSC answered the students‘questions that they are interested in. Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC noted that issues raised will be approached carefully and wished young specialists good luck.

Note that on December 19 a cooperation agreement was signed between “Azersu” OJSC and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) under education, science, specialization and employment. The agreement includes ensuring “Azersu” OJSC with relevant specialists, increasing the professionalism of the employees, education, science and production.
