The majority of water supply and sanitation projects will be completed by the end of 2013

   On April 14 President Ilham Aliyev chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development ofin the first quarter of 2013.

   Stating at the meeting President Ilham Aliyev said that social and economic objectives of the country were successfully implemented and real GDP increased by 3.1 percent. Production of added value in the non-oil sector grew by 11.4 percent in the first quarter of 2013. The Head of state said that during this period social programs were successfully implemented.

    Recalling successfully implementation of reconstruction projects in the regions President Ilham Aliyev drew attention that water supply and sewerage projects are of great importance: “Water and sanitation projects are great projects. The majority of these projects should be completed by the end of the year. I appointed very short time for implementation of these projects. Within two years, we have combined all of our efforts in order to solve the problems of Baku’s settlements.  I think that it is very great project.”

    President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions on quality and timely implementation of infrastructure projects.
