Mini-football tournament in memory of National leader Heydar Aliyev has started

    Series of events are hold in “Azersu OJSC on the occasion of 90th anniversary of National leader Heydar Aliyev. In accordance with Action Plan on April 6 mini-football tournament in memory of National leader Heydar Aliyev has started in “Azersu” OJSC. The tournament will be held between departments and institutions of “Azersu” OJSC.

   The festive opening of the tournament was started with the sounding of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Sederek Sport Complex situated in Nizami district in Baku. Stating in the opening ceremony deputy chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Mahir Memmedov spoke about National leader Heydar Aliyev’s social and political activity and services in the organization and development of independent Azerbaijan and noted that Heydar Aliyev’s President Ilham Aliyev is worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev: “Considering priority the physical and spiritual health of the people National leader Heydar Aliyev kept constant attention the increasing of the physical culture and sport Government support for sport has increased as result of policies implemented by the Honorable President Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev's political course has increased even more, the material-technical base of sport was strengthened, in the regions modern Olympic sports complexes were constructed. As a result of successful sport policy Azerbaijan is recognized as a significant partner by sport society and athletes are considered as main rival in the world.”

   Mahir Memmedov wished success to the participants on behalf of the Joint Stock Company.

   Note that 16 teams of the departments and institutions of “Azersu” OJSC will try to force. At the end the winners will be awarded with diplomas and valuable presents.
