Azersu OJSC transferred two of its employees to law enforcement authorities for fraud

   “Azersu” OJSC continues supervisory measures on accurate accounting of water and eliminating the cases of illegal use of water. With this purpose special attention is paid to employees’ activity and remedial measures are taken to prevent the cases of abuses.

   As result of control measures carried out by Abonnement Department of “Azersu” OJSC the facts of illegal activities and abuse of power were revealed. Head of meter installation office № 6 Nurahmed Kerimov and controller of Nesimi Sukanal Department Vusal Gadirov were fired because of illegal activities. It was cleared that Kerimov Nurahmed illegally took 350 manats from the head of Karat-Holdinq LLC for installation of already used meter. Kerimov confessed of charging 350 manats, of which 185 manats he spent for purchasing of the meter. Another offender V.Gadirov who also pleaded guilty is accused of illegal interference in the operation of meters. The data of fraud facts were transferred to law enforcement authorities.

   Note that the households are supplied with water meter at the expense of State Budget; non-households are supplied with water meter at their own expense. “Azersu” OJSC recommends that  household consumers pay, based on payment notifications, for water supply and sanitation services through Bank transfer or payment in post office, Payment at Paypoint terminals or via internet and by plastic cards
