Water meters are installed on the transmission mains

“Azersu” OJSC continues Action plans to accurate accounting of water and eliminate the cases of illegal use of water. Installation works of water meters are carried out in the territories of Sukanal Departments. These water meters will be installed on input and output lines in the areas of Sukanal Departments. This will allow identifying water consumption and losses. Thus the actual accounting of water, the volume of water sold, information on payment and losses will be determined more accurately on Sukanal Departments.

Overall 270 such water meters will be installed in Baku. With this purpose at the first phase 166Nos water meters produced in Germany and 91Nos water meters produced in Great Britain obtained.

Note that last year installation of smart card water meter has started for the first time. 65 thousand water meters including 22 thousand smart card water meters were installed.
