The number of drinking water and sewerage service users increased
According to the information dated 01 October, 2012 “Azersu” OJSC renders service to 1115732 subscribers. 97% of consumers are household, 3% are non-household users. The number of consumers that use drinking water supply and sewerage systems increased 4917 subscribers or 0,4% in the third quarter of this year. Increasing in number of consumers was undertaken as a result of strengthening control measures, registration of illegal connections, as well as registration of new subscribers.
“Azersu” OJSC pays special attention to providing consumers with water meters. More over 6000 subscribers were provided by water meters in the third quarter of 2012. Thus the number of subscribers provided by water meter reached 540206. Presently 48% of subscribers were provided by water meters.
