Water supply system of Sumgait under reconstruction
“Azersu” OJSC carries out Action plan for improvement of water supply and sewerage systems of consumers. In accordance with Action plan rehabilitation and reconstruction works are carried out in Sumgait.
Between January and October of this year in Sumgait distributional lines of 6,7km was laid and water lines of 8,5km were changed. 121 Nos valves were replaced with new ones and 720 pumping stations were substantially rehabilitated by “Sumgait Sukanal” Department for supplying the consumers on a continuing basis with drinking water. More over 7 thousand water meters were installed on population and non-population in Sumgait city.
Note that “Sumgait Sukanal” Department serves more over 81thousand subscribers on H.Z.Tagiyev and Jorat settlements.
