June 5 is "The Water Economy and Amelioration Employees' Day"
In connection with the professional holiday "The Water Economy and Amelioration Employees' Day" the Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency Zaur Mikayilov and the staff of the Agency came to Alley of Honor and commemorated the National Leader of our people, the architect and founder of our modern independent state Heydar Aliyev’s memory and laid wreaths and flowers in front of his grave. The prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Ms. Zarifa Aliyeva’s memory was also honored.
Later, the memory of the Motherland’s heroic sons, who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was commemorated in the Alley of Martyrs.
