Ilham Aliyev visited complex of irrigation facilities in Hajigabul
President Ilham Aliyev visited a complex of irrigation facilities in the Hajigabul district, designed to provide irrigation water from the Kur River to a 4200-hectare land owned by “Agro Dairy” LLC, facilitated by a pumping station.
Zaur Mikayilov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency, and Niyazi Amirbayov, Executive Director of “Agro Dairy” LLC, provided the President with updates on the progress of the project.
President Aliyev was briefed on the Hajigabul irrigation project, which has already ensured irrigation for 2,555 hectares of land in 2022. Plans are underway to expand the project to cover an additional 1,225 hectares of land next year.
