The following meeting of “Connection to the water network”

On April 6, 2024 the following meeting of “Connection to the water network” working group of Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held at the administrative building of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

Etibar Mammadov, head of working group, Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency, deputy chairman of Azersu OJSC gave information about the agenda of the meeting and reported to works done during the past period and the upcoming tasks. In his speech, the head of the Secretariat of the Commission, Vusal Shikhaliyev, highly appreciated working group’s activities in the field of connecting to water networks during the year, and drew attention to the achievements in the direction of further improvement the position of our country in international rankings.

Pursuant to agenda, a presentation on the works to be done and upcoming tasks according to the requirements of the "Connection of construction facilities to water supply and waste water discharge systems" was brought to the attention of the meeting participants and issues related to taking necessary measures based on these rules were discussed.

The draft project of the Road Map for 2024 regarding the indicator "Connection to public utilities "Water network"" of the "Business Ready" project of the World Bank Group was reviewed.

At the same time, the meeting participants were informed on the works to be done in the direction of solving the problems regarding the applications received from business entities.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, officials of the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency and representatives of other relevant institutions that are members of the working group.
