The border checkpoint established on the Lachin-Khankendi road was provided with drinking water

The border crossing point established by the units of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the sovereign territories of our country, at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankendi road, was provided with drinking water on April 26, 2023. A catchment facility in the Hakari River bed was created by the employees of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency created, a 200-meter-long polyethylene pipe carrying water line was laid from here to the border crossing point and a hydrophore pump was installed. Currently, the border crossing point is provided with uninterrupted drinking water.

In accordance with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev’s relevant instructions, the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan has organized a continuous service in the cities of Shusha, Lachin, Kalbajar, Zangilan district and Hadrut settlement for the purpose of providing sustainable drinking water to strategic facilities in the territories liberated from occupation.
