The supply of drinking water to a part of Yasamal and Nasimi districts will be interrupted
To improve the supply of drinking water to the population, damaged parts of the transmission mains passing through Tbilisi Avenue in Baku are being replaced. These pipelines, built in the 1960s and 70s, fell into disrepair after being exploited for many years. As part of the road infrastructure reconstruction project on Tbilisi Avenue, the 160 mm and 500 mm diameter steel main water pipes passing through the area are replaced by 160 mm and 400 mm diameter polyethylene water lines, respectively. Newly built water pipelines are connected to local networks. Currently, repair crews and special equipment are intensively working in the area. In this regard, on August 27-28, 2022, there will be a interruption on supply of drinking water to a part of Yasamal and Nasimi districts.
