The problem of drinking water in Sedan and Eynibulag villages of Siyazan region has been solved

In accordance with the state program of socio-economic development of the regions approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of the drinking water project in Sedan and Eynibulag villages suffering from water shortage in Siyazan region has been completed. Within the framework of the project implemented by “Azersu OJSC, centralized water supply systems were established and put into operation in the villages.

At the event dedicated to the supply of drinking water to Sadan and Eynibulag villages, the head of the Executive Power of Siyazan region Novruz Novruzov spoke about the social infrastructure projects implemented in the region. He noted that the project, which is being implemented in villages suffering from drinking water scarcity, is an important event and serves to improve the residents’ social and living conditions.

Etibar Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC, reminded that special attention was paid to improving the supply of drinking water to the rural population in accordance with the President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, and delivered information about the work done in this field in recent years. He said that projects are being implemented in villages with water shortages due to both public investment and internal resources, and such projects will continue in 2022.

Within the framework of the project, 11 km distribution water network was established in Sedan village, house connections were provided to 148 addresses and meters were installed. 10 km long distribution water lines have been built in Eynibulag village. 170 houses were connected to the new network and meters were installed.

As a result of the project, the drinking water problem of about 2,000 residents of Sedan and Eynibulag villages of Siyazan region has been solved.
