The project "Water is wealth! Let's learn to save" is over

The project "Water is wealth! Let's learn to save" implemented by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Public Union “Specialists in Water Economy" and the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Water Industry Workers has been completed. The project was implemented to increase the practical knowledge of young researchers in the field of water management and to support future innovative work in the field of water supply. The project was aimed at instilling in young people the efficient use of water, contributing to increasing their scientific knowledge about water, drawing public attention to this area.

Parvana Khidirova, methodologist of the doctoral department of the “Sukanal” Scientific Research Institute of “Azersu” OJSC, said that the project participants visited the Jeyranbatan Ultrafiltration Water Treatment Plant, the Central Laboratory and the Hovsan Aeration Station and learned best practices in this field. During the 3-day training program, trainees gained theoretical and practical knowledge on the management and efficient use of water resources and wastewater treatment plants complex.

A report and a video on the project were prepared and shown. The winning team of the STARTAP youth competition and the author of the article were awarded diplomas and prizes.
