The number of drinking water and sewerage service users has increased
In the first quarter of 2012 the number of subscribers served by "Azersu" OJSC has increased by 7716 or 0.7%. According to the information of April 01, 2012 1 093 680 subscribers throughout the country registered as water and sewerage service users. 97% of consumers are household, 3% are non-household users. Increasing in number of consumers in January-March 2012 undertaken as a result of strengthening control measures, registration of illegal connections, as well as registration of new subscribers.
“Azersu” OJSC pays special attention to providing consumers by water meters. 11548 subscribers were provided by water meters in the first quarter of 2012. Thus the number of subscribers provided by water meter is 523 919.Presently 48,5% of subscribers have been provided by water meters.
