Inventory works will be carried out in order to improve of consumer base.

   Inventory works carried out by “Azersu” OJSC in order to improve of consumer base of Baku, Absheron and Sumgayit Sukanal Offices, to take stock of the service rendered to consumers and debts of the consumers, registration of technical situation of the water meters, determining the number of population registered and actually lived in the apartment, are completed and this process will be finished completely until the 20th of April. The initial results of the investigations and inventory works show that there are discrepancies between the actual consumption of water supply and sewerage services and the numbers recorded in the consumer base. At the same time as water mete in some apartments is not fit, supervisor is not informed about it or the condition is not created for them to record it. Beside it was cleared that more than more people live in the apartment where water meter is not installed, although there is registered one person. This causes a reduction in the consumption artificially.

    Inventory works that carries out for discovering above mentioned discrepancies and specification of consumer base is very necessary covering all consumers. Unfortunately, although the employees of “Azersu” OJSC have repeatedly appealed, some consumers do not create condition for supervisions to control the water meter. According to Article 50 of Azerbaijan Republic Law on “Water supply and Sewerage systems” the employees of “Azersu” OJSC have the right to look through to the object due to water supply and sewerage systems by submitting their cards according to the legislation and the citizens should create condition for it.

   Taking these into consideration “Azersu” OJSC asks consumers to create condition to the employees submitted their cards in order to carry out inventory works.
