A meeting was held in “Azersu” OJSC with the delegations of Japan International Cooperation Agency.

    “Azersu” OJSC held a meeting with the delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency on visit to Azerbaijan. Recalling the close participation of the Japanese government in undertaking of investment projects the chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov highly appreciated the role of Japan International Cooperation Agency in reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems: “The bidding procedures on reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in Khachmaz, Gusar and Khizi were completed and these days the inauguration ceremony will be held with Your participation. In the next phase works will be started in Yevlakh, Barda, Naftalan and Gobustan.”

   Expressing their satisfaction in cooperation with the government of Azerbaijan the deputy director of Central Asian and Caucasus department of Japan International Cooperation Agency Akihiro Takashima stated that the organization that represents will support to the reconstruction projects of water supply and sewerage systems.

    In the meeting “Provincial Cities Water Supply and Sewerage Project” that realized with Japan International Cooperation Agency was discussed. Note that in the frame of the project reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems of 10 cities and centers of the districts (Shirvan, Salyan, Neftchala, Gusar, Khachmaz, Khizi, Gobustan, Yevlakh, Barda and Naftalan) is planned.
