Construction of new transmission main in Yasamal region has begun.

   “Azersu” OJSC carries out measures to improve drinking water supply systems of consumers and preparation to summer regime. In accordance with Action plan in some areas of the capital construction and rehabilitation works on the existing pipelines and lying of new lines are carried out. For this purpose unfit pipelines used for a long time in the Gutgashenli Street in Yasamal are being changed. 1450m long transmission main of cast iron pipelines along the street are substituted with polyethylene pipes (DN=500mm) in order to improve water supply systems of consumers and to prevent water losses. At the same time 800m long auxiliary pipeline (DN=250mm) is laid with polyethylene pipes along the route in order to provide drinking water to surrounding streets and quarters.

  Following Action plan construction and installation works are planned to be completed by the end of April. As a result of these works water supply systems in I.Gutgashenli Street in Yasamal district will be improved and water losses will be prevented.
