A new transmission main and sewerage collector are constructed in Narimanov district of Baku.

   “Azersu” OJSC carries out measures to improve drinking water supply systems of consumers and preparation to summer regime. According to Action plan restoration works on existing lines and lying of new lines are carried out in some parts of Baku. For this purpose unfit water pipelines and sewerage lines in Khatai Avenue in Narimanov district is changed. 2400m long transmission main consisting of cast iron pipes is replaced with polyethylene pipelines (DN=200mm). At the same time an auxiliary pipeline (DN=160mm) is laid with polyethylene pipes along the route in order to provide drinking water to surrounding streets and quarters. In accordance with the project a sewerage collector is constructed in Khatai Avenue. With this purpose a new sewerage line is laid with steel pipes (DN=1000mm).

   Following Action plan construction and installation works are planned to be completed by the end of April. As a result of these works water supply systems in Narimanov district will be improved and water losses will be prevented.
