The transmission main in Sumgait city is changed.
“Azersu” OJSC continues Action plans for improvement of water supply of people. In accordance with Action plan a part of the transmission main that provides a large part of Sumgait with drinking water is changed. 684m long steel pipe of the water line that provides a part of Sumgait with drinking water from Jeyranbatan reservoir was caused water losses because of corrosion. Presently steel pipes are replaced with polyethylene pipes. Water supply of 17th and 18th micro districts, 42nd estates and Jorat settlement, totally more over 33 000 residents will be improved after putting into operation of the transmission main. Following Action Plan construction and installation works are planned to be completed in early April.
