An agreement was signed with Subcontractor Company under construction of Wastewater Treatment plant in Shamakhi

Works on construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant in Shamakhi will be begun soon following “National Water Supply and Sewerage Services Project”. The successful bidder is consortium consisting of “BIOWORKS” and “TTSH Inshaat” LLC companies of Germany. A subcontract was signed between “Azersu” OJSC and Consortium on March 13.

According to the contract Wastewater Treatment Plant will be constructed in Shamakhi. Wastewater of Shamakhi will be treated in this plant consisting of biological-resistant and aeration activated sludge process. Wastewater treatment Plant will be work according to the ATV 131 standards. This plant with the capacity of 9,5m3 will serve to over 50 thousand people. Construction of Wastewater Plant is intended to be completed within 18 months.

It should be noted that water supply and sewerage system of Shamakhi is planned to be reconstructed under “National Water Supply and Sewerage Service Project”.
