Payment level for use of drinking water and sewerage services has increased

     “Azersu” OJSC pays special attention to payment for drinking water and sewerage services. The level of payment has increased as a result of strengthening control measures in 2011. Thus, following last year’s results consumers paid 85% of payment for water supply and sewerage services. Last year payment on population group was 58,8%, on non-population group 110,1%.  Following the decree dated on 8 April, 2011 of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev all the population’s debit debts till 1 February, 2011 for AZN 294,2 mln  were wiped off. “Azersu” OJSC increased supervision to payments. As a result of this subscribers that pay debts in a timely manner rose to 74% in Baku. In parallel 26% or 146.000 subscribers on the capital did not pay even manat in the last year. The most exemplary district on the level of payments is Khazar across the throughout Baku.90% of consumers pay for water and sewerage services in a timely manner.

    It should be noted that “Azersu” OJSC will strength control measures on payment for water supply and sewerage services. “Azersu” OJSC ask consumers not to pay cash to officers in any case. Consumers should pay for water supply and sewerage services by bank transfer, post offices, by plastic cards via internet or Paypoint payment systems.
