Water supply and sewerage systems of Mehemmedi settlement of Absheron region is under reconstruction

     “Azersu” OJSC continues measures for improvement of water supply of Baku and surrounding settlements. In accordance with “2011-2013 State Program on socio-economical development of Baku and surrounding settlements” a new project on reconstruction of water supply and sewerage system of Mehemmedi settlement of Absheron region began to be implemented. 2Nos reservoirs with the capacity of 2500m3 each are constructed for supplying Mehemmedi settlement of Absheron on a continuing basis with quality drinking water. According to the project 32 l/s water will be provided to the settlement by gravity.

    At the same time 3300m long transmission main and 66500m long distributional lines will be laid. For reconstruction of sewerage system 66500m long sewerage line will be laid and joined to collector that will be constructed. The construction of the network will begin in the first half of 2012 and Mehemmedi settlement will be supplied with drinking water in 2013.
