Reconstruction project of water supply and sewerage systems of Imishli is implemented successfully.

     Projects on supplying population in regions on a continuing basis with drinking water are implemented successfully by “Azersu” OJSC. 5 Nos subartesian wells with capacity of 30l/s each should be dug in Ashigalilar village of Beylegan for supplying Imishli region with drinking water on “Reconstruction project of water supply and sewerage systems of Imishli” which implementation begun in September, 2011. One of these wells is ready for operation, other are being dug presently. Over 8km of transmission main with length of 29km from the source to Imishli was laid. 3 Nos reservoirs with capacity of 2500m3 and 1500m3 are built for achieving supplying of Imishli on a continuing basis with drinking water. In addition an intake chamber, chlorination and pumping buildings are constructed.

    In accordance with the project as well as 4 villages along the transmission main will be supplied with drinking water. It should be noted that “Reconstruction project of water supply and sewerage systems of Imishli” is estimated for 40 000 people considering population growth as of 2035. In the frame of the project a distributor network with total length of 180km for supplying the city on a continuing basis with drinking water and a sewerage network with length of 170km for collecting wastewater will be laid, 25 Nos pumping station and Water Treatment Plant with capacity of 10 000m3/d will be constructed.
