Construction of a new transmission main has been launched in Bakikhanov settlement
"Azersu” OJSC continues Action Plan on improvement of drinking water supply of settlements. In accordance with Action Plan construction of new transmission main has begun in Sabunchu rayon of Baku. According to the project 4km long water line laid from “+126 Garachukhur” reservoir in Garachukhur to Bakikhanov settlement will be joined to the networks in the settlements by plastic pipes DN=500-750mm. Drinking water will be delivered from the reservoir to the settlement by gravity. This will help to develop water supply system of consumers.
It should be noted that presently drinking water is transmitted from “+Mashtaga” reservoir Bakikhanov by pumps. Transmitting of drinking water from this source to Bakikhanov settlement will be suspended after operation of the new water pipe with a capacity on the project.
