Putting into operation of new transmission mains improves drinking water supply in Yasamal district.

Comprehensive Action is being continued for improving drinking water supply and sewerage system in Baku by “Azersu” OJSC. In accordance with the Action Plan works on supplying population of Yasamal district on continuing basis with drinking water on the projects begun to be implemented in May-June of this year were completed. Distribution lines were laid from “+160 Garb” reservoir in Yasamal along the streets of A.Alakbarov, M.Mushfig, N.Narimanov, M.Shahriyar, M.Rahim and S.Dadashov and supplying with drinking water was provided with this line.

Construction of new transmission main form A.Abbasov to Sh.Mehdiyev streets of Yasamal was completed. Presently connection of transmission main to distribution lines is being completed. The construction of another transmission main from Matbuat Avenue to M.Mushfig str. was carried out. Presently supplying with drinking water is realized.

It should be noted that construction works were carried out by local companies. Steel pipes, the production of Ukraine, with different diameter were used for being corrosion resistance of transmission mains. After reconstruction works water supply of population of above mentioned streets has been developed.
