Construction of rain screening has commenced for the discharge of rain water .
“Azersu” OJSC has begun large-scale works for the discharge of retained rainwater. At the initial stage construction of rain screening is carried out in the streets and avenues which rainwater prevented to the movement by creating ponds. Now construction and installation works are carried out in 69 points of the capital. At the same time designing is carried out for construction of drainage systems and covering of rain screening in all streets and avenues in Baku. Construction works will be commenced as soon as design and estimate documents prepared in “Sukanal” SRDI prepared.
It should be that there are rain screening in 10percent of streets and avenues and these cover only the center of the city. Drainage system is intended to be constructed for discharge of rainwater in constructing of sewerage system of surrounding settlements.
