ATINAK Company of Turkey will reconstruct water supply and sewerage system in Goychay.
International bidding on reconstruction project of water supply and sewerage system of Goychay was completed. According to the results of the contest among seven companies ATINAK offering more advantageous conditions became the successful bidder and an agreement was signed between “Azersu” OJSC and the winner company. In the frame of the project building water intake water facility compound will be completed, water and sewerage networks of the city will be reconstructed. Works implemented at the expense of the loan of Asia Development Bank (ADB) will be launched in December of 2011 and completed within 18 months.
It should be noted reconstruction of water supply and sewerage system of Goychay and Agdash will be realized in the frame of “Urban water supply and sewerage project” and “Waters supply and sewerage infrastructure Program” together with Asia Development Bank (ADB). According to “Urban water supply and sewerage project”, completed in 2010, necessary machines and mechanisms were obtained, 3 Nos artesian wells were drilled for development of water supply of the city, a new reservoir (V=2000 m3) including an intake chamber and chlorination building was constructed. At the same time, a new laboratory building, pumping station and new electricity lines ensuring safe performance of pumps were constructed. In addition, new office buildings and industrial premises were constructed for “Agdash Sukanal” SOJSC.
