New transmission main is laid to “+200” Badamdar reservoir

        Laying of new transmission main has been started for improvement of drinking water supply in Sabail rayon of Baku. Over 1km of the transmission main with length of 8 km and DN 1000 mm has already been installed from “+160” reservoir in Yasamal to “+200” reservoir in Badamdar based on order of “Azersu” OJSC.

     Water will be transmitted to “+200” reservoir with a capacity of 20 thousand m3 by this pipeline, as well as to 2 distributor reservoirs with a capacity of 2500 m3 each and from here will be distributed to Bayil, Bibiheybat, “20-ci Sahe” and Badamdar residential areas by gravity. Works on the project are intended to be completed in early 2012. Thus water supply of consumers in the north and west areas of Sabail rayon will be improved.

      For the first time inside of the pipeline is colored by paint intended for the food industry and adopted standards in the frame of the project. This ensures maintaining high quality indicators of drinking water, as well as increases corrosion resistance.
