Inauguration ceremony of Central Laboratory of “Azersu” OJSC was held in Baku.
Inauguration ceremony of Central Laboratory of “Azersu” OJSC took place on October 24 in Baku. The Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC stated that the laboratory building with total area of 1800m2 will be constructed for the purpose of establishment of new water sources, monitoring the quality indicators of drinking water conveyed to consumers, learning the composition of water according to modern standards and modern equipments will be installed here.
The laboratory will be presented to ISO-17025 accreditation certificate after putting into operation and thus the results of the analysis will be accepted at the international level (European Union and World Health Organization).
Presently, if 30 drinking water parameters are determined in Central Laboratory of “Azersu” OJSC, after comissioning of this laboratory these indicators will be delivered about 75 parameters.
For ensuring of quality control of drinking water in new laboratory microbiological, organoleptic, physical-chemical, parasitological, toxicological and radiological, as well as organic and inorganic substances will be appointed.
