   The number of subscribers of “Azersu” OJSC increased by 3.9 percent in 2022. As of January 1, 2023, 1748832 subscribers across the country were registered as users of drinking water supply and wastewater disposal services. 1679880 or 96.1% of subscribers are population, 68952 or 3.9% are non-population group subscribers.

The increase in the number of subscribers during the year was mainly due to the connection of consumers to the centralized drinking and waste water networks, the registration of owners of newly built individual houses as subscribers, as well as the detection of illegal use of drinking water and sewerage services. .

As of January 1, 2023, 88.8% of “Azersu” OJSC subscribers were provided with meters. At present, the level of metering for population-group subscribers is 88.6 percent, and for non-population- group customers - 95.6 percent.
