Awards were presented to employees who were awarded for their efficient work in the field of water management

The presentation ceremony of the awards to the employees who received the honorary title of "Honored Engineer" and the medal of "Progress" by the orders signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the eve of the professional holiday June 5 "The Water Economy and Amelioration Employees’ Day", as well as the Honorary Decree by "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company.

Teyyub Jabbarov, the first deputy chairman of "Azersu" OJSC, congratulated the employees and said that, large-scale work was carried out and important projects were implemented in accordance with the President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions to improve the supply of drinking and waste water services to consumers. The water industry employees have a great contribution in the implementation of these projects, which are calculated to improve the population’s social and living conditions.

On May 14, 2014, the professional holiday June 5 "The Water Economy and Amelioration Employees' Day" was established by the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev who highly appreciated the water economy and amelioration employees’ work. Every year, on the eve of the professional holiday, a group of employees who work in this field are awarded honorary titles and medals. According to the President Ilham Aliyev Order dated June 4, 2022, 1 employee of "Azersu" OJSC was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Engineer" and 12 employees were awarded with the medal of "Progress" for their efficient work in the field of water management. In addition, 102 employees who distinguished themselves in their labor activity were awarded the Honorary Decree of "Azersu" OJSC and 108 employees were awarded a letter of appreciation.

At the event, "Azersu" OJSC employees, who were awarded for their efficient work in the field of water management, were presented the certificate of the honorary title of "Honored Engineer", medals of "Progress”, Honorary Decrees and letters of appreciation.

The awarded employees expressed their gratitude to the head of state for awards and stressed that they will continue to work hard to justify the trust shown.
